During the week of March 11th – 15th, 2019 we had a number of events taking place at a variety of venues. The events and venues were planned so that they were all close to each other on their particular dates.
Once again, events included Window Art decorating (Princess Hotel), Weaved Reindeer decorations (Lenore Keeshig), Chocolate Dipping (Sweet Shop), Ice cream making & crafts (The Meeting Place & The Princess Hotel). This year we also added a snowshoe hike & fire, however, due to weather conditions this even was cancelled (Noreen Steinacher). Crafts at the Visitors Center (Parks Canada), and lastly, the fabulous variety of scheduled events by Kathryn Forbes (Tobermory Public Library & the Visitor Centre).
For all who participated, thank you! I would also like to acknowledge, all the managers, owners, friends, volunteers and my wonderful staff, for all their assistance leading up to and throughout the week.
Once again, March Break Madness was a huge success. Weather conditions held out for most of the week. We were able to raise money for the Kids program at the Meeting Place as well as food for the Food Bank.
