Motorcycle enthusiasts will once again take to the roads of the Bruce Peninsula this summer for the annual “Just the Tip” Charity Motorcycle Ride, a community fundraiser supporting Tobermory Children’s Camp and the Breakfast Clubs at Bruce Peninsula District School and St. Edmunds Public School.
Organized by local business owners Neil and Linda Bain from the Hungry Hiker family, the annual fundraiser combines a scenic ride through the Bruce Peninsula with a community dinner, silent auction and live entertainment with the popular band Rewired.
“Just the tip” had its inaugural run in 2023 and has continued to be a yearly tradition since. In 2025 the event changed its format from a traditional poker run to a “Shoot & Scoot” featuring skill-based stops, including darts, archery, target shooting, knife throwing and more.
This year’s run will take place August 15, starting at Hungry Hiker 7391 Hwy 6, Tobermory. Kick stands up by 11:00 a.m.
