Following the tremendous success of last year’s lottery, which saw thousands of tickets sold and a massive $30,910 jackpot won by Kris Dawson of Hepworth, the excitement is building once again. This year, funds raised through the Keeping Care Close 50/50 Lottery will support a major upgrade to the Medical Device Reprocessing Department (MDRD)—an essential service for patients requiring scope-based procedures at Brightshores Wiarton Hospital. This important investment will strengthen patient safety and infection prevention, improve access to endoscopy and diagnostic procedures, enhance workflow and efficiency for healthcare teams and support high-quality care for hundreds of patients each year.

The final 50/50 jackpot will be drawn at 9:00 p.m. on August 1 during Wiarton Homecoming Weekend at Bluewater Park.
