What Is Psychotherapy? Is It For You?

Psychotherapy, or talk therapy, listens to a client’s current experiences and makes connections to past events. Instead of asking “What’s wrong with you?” psychotherapy asks “What happened to you?” Dialogue about current troubles while considering past experiences with a qualified therapist can lead to a life that is more peaceful and attuned to your personal goals.

Anyone with anxiety, depression, grief, anger, relationship conflict, challenging life transitions, addictions, ADHD or any other mental health concern will benefit from psychotherapy.

Anyone who wants to look more deeply at themselves benefits from nonjudgmental, empathetic and compassionate therapy, such as I provide. As a Registered Psychotherapist in the Qualifying category, I engage in regular consultation with a supervising psychotherapist to ensure my practice is safe and effective.
