Friends of the Lion’s Head Library
Some members of Friends of the Lion’s Head Library recently donated $900.00 to the Bruce County Public Library (BCPL) to help with the launch of the new Bookmobile. The Bookmobile will offer scheduled visits and programs to smaller and more remote communities in Bruce County. Many of the services, such as borrowing and returning books, programming and access to wi-fi, provided at the Lion’s Head Branch will be available from the bookmobile.
Used Book Sale August 12
As mentioned in an earlier edition of the Bruce Peninsula Press, the Friends of the Lion’s Head Library Used Book Sale has been set for Saturday, August 12 from 9:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.
Used book donations can be left at the Lion’s Head Arena starting June 15 – Tuesdays to Saturdays – 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Please do not leave donations at other times. All donations will be used for assisting with the purchase of furniture and fixtures for our new library. Thanks to everyone for your support.
