Wiarton, ON – The Bruce Peninsula Hospitals Foundation (BPHF) is pleased to announce that Doug Luxton of Lion’s Head is the winner of the $2,500 Early Bird Prize in the Keeping Care Close to Home Lottery. The winning draw took place on June 26, 2026.
While Doug is celebrating his win, there’s still plenty of excitement ahead for lottery participants. The grand prize jackpot has already climbed above $26,000 and continues to grow with every ticket sold.
“We’re thrilled to congratulate Doug on his Early Bird win,” said April Patry, Executive Director of the Bruce Peninsula Hospitals Foundation. “Every ticket purchased helps support local healthcare while giving participants the chance to win a life-changing jackpot.”
Last year’s grand prize winner, Kris Dawson of Hepworth, took home an impressive $30,910, demonstrating just how much the jackpot can grow through strong community support.
Readers are encouraged to purchase their tickets now to secure their chance at the growing jackpot while helping fund essential equipment and healthcare initiatives for Brightshores Wiarton and Lion’s Head Hospitals.
