Photo: Stratford resident Samm Simon crosses the finish line of his “Epic Run” from Stratford to Tobermory, ON – over 251 kilometres. Running to raise money in honour of his wife, who is battling cancer for the third time, Samm has raised over $36,000.00 so far to be split between three organizations: London Health Sciences Centre’s Cancer Program, Stratford General Hospital’s Emergency Department, and Wellspring Stratford Cancer Centre. The Bruce Peninsula is a very special place for Samm and his wife.
On May 10th, Samm arrived in Tobermory, welcomed by a crowd of friends, family and bystanders there to congratulate him on this amazing achievement.
