WIARTON, ON – The Bruce Peninsula Sportsmen’s Association (BPSA) is opening its doors to the community for a day of family-friendly adventure and education. The BPSA Open House will take place on Sunday, June 14th, from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm at their facility located at 611 North Acres Road, Wiarton.
Dedicated to engaging both adults and children in safe outdoor recreation and conservation, this free event offers a variety of hands-on activities, including:
• Wildlife & Conservation: Tour the fish hatchery to see thousands of rainbow and brown trout fingerlings and learn about the BPSA “Boot Scrubber” invasive species awareness project.
• Outdoor Skills: Enjoy archery training (weather-permitting) and learn the art of casting for all ages.
• Displays: View the range and a special firearms display, alongside featured works from local nature and landscape painter Chris Morton.
• Food & Fun: Guests can cook their own hot dogs over an open fire and enjoy free refreshments.
The BPSA is located just off Oliphant Road, 2.1 km West of Hwy 6. Admission is free and all are welcome.
