The Tobermory All Seasons Market presents the Happy Holidays Market Event December 5 from 3pm – 8pm at the Tobermory Community Centre.
Get into the Holidays Season spirit by entering a contest!
Our Bruce Peninsula traditions include decorating a tree, exchanging gifts, and having a special holiday dinner with family and friends. However, before anything else, we all truly enjoy coming out to support vendors and fundraisers as part of our holiday season celebrations!
THE UGLY SWEATER BEAUTY PAGEANT CONTEST
Everyone’s a contestant, and only the ugliest and most creative sweater will take home the crown. An “ugliest sweater contest” is a festive party game where participants wear their most gaudy, creative, or tacky holiday sweaters, and judges vote for a winner based on specific criteria like funniest, most creative, or ugliest.
Categories and Rules
• Any age welcome
• Category 1 – ‘UGLIEST’
• Category 2 – ‘MOST CREATIVE’
• Category 3 – ‘FUNNIEST’
How to Enter, Prize, and Judging:
• You can join market between 3pm to 8pm and ask for market organizer
• 3 vendors will be selected for judging
How to win:
• Be creative: The uglier, more creative or funnier the sweater, the better. Think about combining different patterns, colors, and decorations.
• Bribe the judge: Suggest bringing a bottle of the judge’s favourite wine or a fun gift to sway their opinion.
Contest will be judged and a holiday gift bag from local area businesses and vendors will be awarded to winners!
