September 27th in Lion’s Head
Media Release
The Rotary Club of Northern Bruce Peninsula and Tagwerk Bier invite you to join us for a full day and night of celebration at our third annual Oktoberfest Event on Saturday, September 27th, 2025, in the heart of Lion’s Head. This festive tradition brings our community together to enjoy the best of the fall season with music, great food, cold brews and the warmth of neighbours gathering as one.
Festivities begin at noon when the beer garden opens at the Rotary Hall grounds at 59 Main Street. To kick things off, the Oktoberfest wagon will arrive in style carrying local Councillor Todd Dowd and Tagwerk’s master brewer, Christian von der Heide. They will perform the traditional cask tapping, officially opening Oktoberfest in Lion’s Head.
From 12:00 noon to 6:30 PM, enjoy free entry to the beer garden. Raise a stein of our Lion’s Head Oktoberfest Brew and enjoy traditional fare including sausages, hotdogs, strudel, pretzels and more. Non-alcoholic drink options are available too.
As evening falls, the fun moves indoors to the Rotary Hall. At 7:00 PM, doors open for a night of entertainment with the Paul Williamson Band. Please join us and come ready to dance, sing, enter our stein holding contest, enjoy Oktoberfest food and celebrate together at one of the highlights of fall on the beautiful Saugeen Bruce Peninsula!
Special thanks to our local sponsors for 2025: EPH Tools and Machining Ltd., T&P Hayes Investments, and Kyle and Kara of Hellyer’s Foodland. Thank you for supporting this event and helping Rotary give back to our community!
Tickets for evening events are available online at https://www.eventbrite.ca/e/lions-head-oktoberfest-2025-tickets-1424862826069 or from your local Rotary members. Advance purchase is recommended to secure your spot!
