Every Christmas season Sobeys sets goals for its stores to raise money for local food banks. Based on previous years, the goal for Hellyer’s Foodland was set at $1,700.00. As usual, our community members were very generous, donating a whopping $2,248.30!
These donations were converted into gift cards, which will allow the food bank to provide perishable food items to our clients.
