The Lion’s Head Farmers’ Market’s annual Christmas Market will be held on the fourth weekend in November at Summer House Park.
This is the fourth year the Christmas Market is being held at Summer House Park grounds, in a festive setting that could easily be mistaken for an on-site filming location for your favorite Christmas-themed romance TV movie. This highly anticipated shopping and social event attracted over 800 patrons to the Market in 2023. The two-day Market will be held on November 23 and 24, 2024 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
The annual Christmas Market will feature over 35 vendors, and there are offerings for all your holiday needs. Patrons can look forward to seeing many of their favorite vendors as well as some new vendors. The booths will be located in the Rec Hall Lodge and beside the Lodge in the Outdoor Canadiana Market portion of the Christmas Market.

For home decor, hostess gifts and unique gift ideas, there is a wide selection of local artisans’ products including art cards, Christmas floral arrangements, handcrafted soaps, pottery, woodturning products, candles, lavender products, hand sewn mitts and knitted hats, decorator floor mats, alpaca wear, tie dyed clothing, Christmas wreaths and ornaments.

There is no admission fee to the Christmas Market but patrons are asked to donate a non-perishable food item. The Christmas Market has proved to be a major food drive for the Lion’s Head and District Food Bank; at last year’s Market generous patrons donated 400 kg of non-perishable food items.
