I would like to express my heartfelt thanks to some lovely folk in Ferndale who rescued me after I inadvertently ditched my car in a whiteout on January 13. Unfortunately I didn’t find out their names but there were several who helped me. The owner of the garage, his wife and son, and another fellow who was a hero, and by trying to help me, ditched his truck.
It all turned out just fine. We both were pulled out of that ditch and live to tell the tale.
Special thanks go out to the 11 year old boy who took care of me, offering me water and a chair to sit on. He is a sweetheart. When I said how embarrassed I was he said “not to worry, these things happen”.
There is much kindness around and these folks are absolutely the BEST. Thank you to all.
