In the last edition of the Press, we reported on the success of our Fall Fundraising events, in particular the End of Summer Season Party. While a great success, our push to raise money for the Tobermory Clinic exceeded our hopes with very generous donations from local sponsors. We were sponsored by The Wilson Home Building Centre, Peacock’s Foodland, The Princess Hotel, Bruce Anchor Cruises and Motel, The Sweet Shop, Summer House Park and Shipwreck Lee’s. Our sponsors contributed almost $9,000 towards our total raised of $15,000!

The money raised will be used to purchase and upgrade equipment used in the treatment of patients in the Tobermory clinic. The first two items will be a portable EKG monitor and an adjustable power exam room bed. The bed will be especially helpful for patients with mobility issues. The Family Health Team are prioritizing additional equipment needs to make sure the money raised is of the greatest benefit for their patients.

Our sincere thanks to all throughout the North Bruce Peninsula for your overwhelming support.
