The Meeting Place (TMP) is very pleased to introduce our new Community Coordinator, Jen Williams who will be working Tuesdays, Wednesday and Thursdays at TMP, 20 Centennial Drive in Tobermory. Jen will fulfill many service aspects of keeping the “hub” running smoothly. We particularly want to highlight an important support service provided – Community Information & Resource Coordination or CIRC. We encourage anyone to reach out to the Community Coordinator by phone or in-person if you have questions about or are looking for services for supporting family, children, household needs, recreation & leisure, food security and general well being. Sometimes it makes a difference to talk with someone in person.
This is a free, confidential service. Call 519-596-2313, drop in during TMP ‘open’ hours or e-mail. Jen will also be leading the SOAR afterschool program starting in November. She is passionate about learning and exploring with the kids in exciting and creative ways.
