Dangerous Operation and Stunt Driving Charges in Northern Bruce Peninsula

Media Release 

(NORTHERN BRUCE PENINSULA, ON) – The Grey Bruce Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) has charged a Mississauga driver for stunt driving and dangerous operation of a motor vehicle.

On June 3rd, 2023, at approximately 3:19 p.m., police stopped a vehicle on Highway 6 in the Municipality of Northern Bruce Peninsula travelling in excess of 195km/hr in an 80 km/hr zone.

As a result, a 37-year-old resident of Mississauga has been charged with:

– Drive Motor Vehicle – Perform Stunt – Excessive Speed

– Dangerous Operation

A 30-day driving suspension and 14-day vehicle impoundment was initiated as per statute. The accused is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Owen Sound on July 13, 2023, to answer to the charges.
