Congratulations to all of the players, coaches, families and fans of Bruce Peninsula Minor Hockey Association’s 2022-23 U15 Local League team. There is so much to be proud of!

The U15 LL team learned and grew together as a team. The season got off to a rocky start but the team began to taste victory at a local league tournament in Arthur, in November, winning their first game against Wingham and their second against Arthur.

Following that one-day tournament, the team came together both mentally and physically – winning 7 more regular season games, placing 6th out of 11 teams in the WOAA North division.

Following the regular season, the team entered their WOAA White division playoff round, meeting teams from Owen Sound, Shallow Lake, Hanover and Arran-Elderslie. How did they do? The U15LL team went UNDEFEATED in a 10 game playoff series, winning their WOAA White North division. From there they went on to meet Walkerton, winner of the WOAA White South division playoff round, in the WOAA White Division Championships, winning the best of three series in two straight games!

Please help us congratulate and celebrate a successful, exciting and memorable season for these kids!

We can’t wait to see them on the ice next year.
