The Polar Bear Dip crew enjoyed a grey but balmy 2C day at the Lion’s Head beach with a quick dip in the waters on January 1st 2023.
Lion’s Head resident Anna Martens says “I’ve been doing it for years and slowly encouraging others to join.” Martens hopes to encourage more participation next year and says that “Next year we want to make it a fundraiser for the food bank – bring a donation or something like that.”
