The Royal Canadian Legion Branch 202, Lion’s Head, will be presenting a series of four workshops on Introduction to Scale Modelling. This program is intended for seniors who may be seeking a new pastime or are interested in acquiring the basic skills and materials to enjoy a new hobby.
The workshop will provide all the necessary tools and supplies, a model and leadership/instruction to enable the participants to successfully complete a beginner-level scale model. The presentations will be appropriate for beginners to the hobby but will also include discussion and demonstrations of more advanced techniques and materials. The workshops will be facilitated by Chris Mawdsley and take place at the Lion’s Head Legion over four consecutive Saturday mornings, beginning November 19, 2022.
Thanks to financial support from the Senior’s Centre ‘Without Walls’ program, the cost to each participant will be kept to $35. Attendance will be limited to six. Please contact Chris by email at mawdsch@gmail.com for additional information and to reserve your place.
