Santa was riding in style on December 4th for his visit to the Lion’s Head Santa Claus Parade. Joined by Harper St Denis (center) and dad Jason St Denis who guided the pony generously loaned out by Mike Spaulding to help transport Santa. Community spirit was high with many groups entering floats and walking in the parade. Special thanks to Tim Hayes from the Lion’s Head Bottle Return who donated funds to prepare treat bags for all the children.

Santa, Mrs Claus, elves and the Grinch were there. There were ice skaters and hockey players. With the fire engines leading the way, there were pick-up trucks, a tractor, an electric vehicle, all terrain vehicles, a snowmobile, horse drawn wagons and a pony cart. There were horses and ponies. There were strolling musicians and a drummer. Loot bags and candy canes were distributed.
