Recently, a $1,245 donation was made through the Lowes/Rona “Heroes” campaign in support of the Tobermory Community Gardens Group pavilion project. A multi-purpose gazebo would provide much needed shade and a place to relax for the increasing number of people using the various facilities at the Tobermory Community Park. It would also provide a focal point for future outdoor community events being held in the park.
RONA’s assistance with the project is appreciated and fundraising by the Community Gardens Group towards a pavilion in the park continues, hopefully, with a 2022 construction date.
