OWEN SOUND, ON, MAY 26, 2021 – Community Foundation Grey Bruce invites charities and nonprofit organizations to submit a Letter of Intent in order to apply for a grant to support Capital projects that benefit people and communities in Grey and Bruce Counties.
Interested charities and nonprofit organizations can view the criteria for Capital Granting on the Foundation’s website: www.communityfoundationgreybruce.com, then complete an online Letter of Intent form by June 30th, 2021. Organizations may ask for up to $30,000 for their capital project.
If the project is deemed eligible, the organization will be contacted with a link to the Capital Grant application form which needs to be completed by September 15th. Projects cannot start before October 2021 with completion by October 2022.
Granting priorities are based on Community Foundation Grey Bruce’s 2016 Vital Signs® report which gathered statistics on needs to be addressed in our region in the areas of health & wellness, arts and culture, education and lifelong learning, living standards, the environment, and community connections. Applicants are required to describe how their project addresses one of the indicators of community vitality as outlined in the Vital Signs report.
