The Northern Bruce Peninsula Community Support Advisory Action Committee (NBP CSAAC) will meet on Wednesday February 12, 2020 from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. to discuss the need for available and affordable housing and rentals. Jan Chamberlain from Owen Sound, member of the Council on Aging Grey Bruce, will be the speaker to talk about available housing. A discussion on the need for housing and rentals on the peninsula will follow. What can the community do? What is your vision for the future of Northern Bruce Peninsula?
There are one page surveys about “Rural Transit Transportation” needs on the Northern Bruce Peninsula available at both libraries and Family Health Teams in Lion’s Head and Tobermory. Return the survey by February 29th. A report of the collated surveys will be available at the March 11th meeting. Rural communities are at a disadvantage due to the lack of rural transit transportation. Let your needs be known should you not be able to drive in the future.
Several topics and speakers for the upcoming meetings have been planned for you to mark on your calendar:
