1934-2026. Sadly at his family residence at the age of 91 in Ancaster Ontario with his daughter Patricia, son in law Barry and Joanne by his side. Husband to Elizabeth Louise deceased, devoted father to Patricia Mary, Bradley John (deceased). Parents Beatrice & Reginald Richardson & brother Ken. Born in Huntsville and raised in Parry Sound. Hartley became a Senior Property negotiator for Queens Park for 30 years travelling extensively. He retired early to enjoy a very colourful retirement. He was an avid painter, sculptor, jazz trumpet player, flugal horn and harmonica & was also a professional wrestler, he loved the great outdoors, hunting, skiing and held extensive gardens. He was a creative mind & soul, kind to his many friends especially Bob Spicer, Jim Harris, Tom Chapman, Dave Smallwood, John Fenton, Kathy Jerome, Sue Dyment and John Baker. A private memorial was held in Ancaster & a musical tribute will be held at Barrow Bay. He loved Lion’s Head & all of his kind neighbors. Many thanks to Dr. Thomas and Dr. Harper & the entire Lion’s Head Team. Also to all of his compassionate PSW’s especially Donna & Michelle and VON nursing. The circle of life is never easy, my beautiful father & best friend has left us. I am heartbroken. Rest in Peace Big Daddy xox.
