Peacefully at Gateway Haven, Wiarton Wednesday, August 19, 2026. Lynda Chisholm of Wiarton, formerly of Tobermory in her 80th year. Beloved wife the late Grant Watson (1972) and the late Jim Chisholm (1993). Cherished mother of Trudy Watson (John Wipp) of Tobermory, Connie Collins (Steve) of Lion’s Head, Sandra Watson (Fred Wipp) of Miller Lake, Ron Watson (Angie) of Pike Bay, and Karen McKague (Lynn) of Barrow Bay. Much loved Grandma of Katrina, Kayci, Curt (Jordan), Courtney (Jason), Kendra, Jamie (Randi), Sydney, Emily and Tristen, and great grandma of Skylar, Avarie, Easton, Grant, Ryleigh, Mackenna, Lilly, Dawson, Huntleigh, Walker, Kaycen and Lyndy. Dear sister of Ila Kleinknecht (Tom), and sister-in-law of Betty Lawrence, and Robert Chisholm (Christine). Aunt Lynda and Great Aunt Lynda to many. Predeceased by her parents Bill and Dora (nee Pettigrew) Spears, and brother Bill Spears Jr. Lynda had a great love for her family and a passion for knitting, she enjoyed her time spent at the Tobermory Legion. She will be remembered for her straightforward nature and honesty. A graveside service was conducted at the Dunk’s Bay Cemetery, Tobermory on Thursday August 27, 2026 at 1:00 p.m. Arrangements entrusted to the GEORGE FUNERAL HOME, WIARTON.
