HOFFMANN-TAYLOR, Ferelith passed away in the Lions Head Hospital on Monday, September 12, in her 83rd year. She was the oldest of 5 children of John and Elsie Taylor in Christal City, Manitoba. Later in life she became the loving wife of Rainer Hoffmann-Taylor, who immigrated from Germany. During her professional years she was a dedicated Nurse, who worked in different Hospitals in Canada and the US. In her last professional year, working in Saudi Arabia, she met her husband Rainer Hoffmann-Taylor. While Ferelith worked there as a nurse, he worked there as an engineer. Both decided to spend there years as married couple in Tobermory, Canada. They finished their home where they have lived for the past 22 years. Ferelith became very active in the life in Tobermory. She founded and the run the Woman’s Information Network (WIN) and later the poet group, the Tobermory Muses. As a dedicated poet and writer she wrote 4 children’s books and many well liked poems. The celebration of life will take place on Tuesday, October 11th at 11.00 a.m.at the Tobermory United Church. Memorial donations to the Tobermory United Church.
