The Sweet Shop has opened its doors for the 2026 season – celebrating 46 years providing sweets! New changes include a main floor demonstration area; watch unique Sweet Shop specialty treats being created. Throughout the summer, The Sweet Shop will be reintroducing traditional recipes for fudge, brittle and caramel corn.
New owners Debbie Smits and Greg Lorch plan to continue the tradition of the iconic store. As cottage owners for many years, some of their earliest memories were listening to their daughter call out each Sweet Shop billboard phrase while traveling up Highway 6, and regular trips to The Sweet Shop for ice cream and chocolate! It is an honour to keep the memories alive for the next generation!
