The Golden Dawn Senior Citizen Home held its annual Fish Fry on August 17th, returning after a three year covid hiatus.
The fun event is held for residents and their families to enjoy good food and good music in a celebratory atmosphere. The fish was prepared by the Ferndale, Lion’s Head & District Lions Club. Musicians Brian, Brian & Arny, as well as the Ferndale Flats performed at the event. Special guests included Mayor Milt McIver and his wife Bonnie Warder.
The festivities were moved indoors due to the weather, but that did not dampen the enjoyment of all who attended.
