Music on the Bruce Festival. Free Summer Performances By Violinist Sarah Pratt-Parsamian

Media Release

Music on the Bruce is proud to present a recital of solo violin music, selected and performed by violinist Sarah Pratt-Parsamian.

Sarah combines her unique skills as a violinist with a passion for giving audiences a true understanding of the music she plays, by speaking to the audience during the performance, providing some historical context and links to familiar musical tradition, anecdotes, and musical explanations. In this way, she aims to make the music accessible to everyone, from seasoned listeners, to those hearing classical music for the first time.

This summer’s program includes music written by J.S. Bach, Eugene Ysaye, Fritz Kreisler, and Canadian composer Sophie-Carmen Eckhardt-Gramatte. The program will be repeated at venues spanning the length of the Bruce Peninsula, bringing the music to as many communities, and as many people, as possible. In this difficult pandemic time, Sarah is offering all her performances FREE to the public.
