Heaps of rotting snow mixed with road salt and sand at the head of Little Tub Harbour, Tobermory.

Mid-winter in beautiful downtown Tobermory thanks to the Municipality’s efforts to keep fourteen of the parking spaces at the head of the harbor open.

These unsightly heaps of rotting snow mixed with road salt and sand are totally unnecessary when one considers the more than fifty parking spaces that are available on the front road between the Crowsnest and the Princess Hotel after Bay Street has been plowed.

We could very well do without these ugly piles of road waste that stretch the full width of the west end of Little Tub Harbour.

If our Fire Department needs an access path to open water, plow a driveway to the pool that usually exists at the south west corner

None of this is meant to criticize the excellent work of our Municipal road clearing crew. It’s the best ever!
