In reference to your last newspaper (Issue #13/ 20) and the Council Minutes Delegation #1 “2019 Harbour Area Pilot Project Results” by the Tobermory and District Chamber of Commerce in the council minutes, Ms. Sarbakhsh recommended that the pine trees planted back in 1990s be removed so visitors could have a better view of the harbour.
One of the main reasons visitors from large cities and metropolitan areas come to the Bruce Peninsula and Tobermory is to see the vegetation, geology, water and the trees. The action of cutting down the tress around the harbour for a VISITOR to have a better harbour view, for a possibly a onetime trip here is not good planning for the future.
