Connie Tackaberry of Lion’s Head was recently recognized with a 2025-2026 Bluewater District School Board (BWDSB) Award of Excellence during the board’s year-end meeting on June 16.
Nominated by individuals within their school communities, recipients are community members who have made outstanding contributions to support student success, exemplifying BWDSB’s mission and values in action.
A long-time volunteer at Bruce Peninsula District School (BPDS) in Lion’s Head, Tackaberry was honoured for her outstanding contributions in support of local students and her commitment to the school community.
