Over 350 breakfasts were served at our third community Pancake Breakfast of 2025 at Rotary Pavilion next to Lion’s Head Beach on Sunday morning of the August Civic Holiday weekend! Rotary thanks everyone who came out for a delicious ‘Made in Canada’ Pancake Breakfast! We thank our ‘Friends of Rotary’ who continue to help out at these breakfasts with preparing food on our new grills and serving food on the customer line!

We are especially appreciative of our Pancake Breakfast individual and business sponsors who generously donate product and money to defray Rotary’s costs of putting on these events, allowing us to return more of the proceeds directly back to the community of Northern Bruce Peninsula – our 2025 Pancake Breakfast sponsors include Jane & Dr. Dave Thomson, Tiffany Embleton & Dan Jorritsma, Barbara Dirckx (RE/MAX Grey-Bruce Realty Inc.), Garden in Thyme Country Market, Russell and Abby Miners (Miners’ Maple Products) and Leroy Dirckx (Atlas World Real Estate Corp.).

More photos from this most recent community Pancake Breakfast event can be found on our Rotary Club website at https://www.rotarynbp.org/photoalbums/pancake-breakfast-august-3-2025, along with photos from previous Pancake Breakfast events.

Our fourth and final community Pancake Breakfast of 2025 will be coming up at Rotary Pavilion by Lion’s Head Beach to be held on Sunday, August 31st of the Labour Day Holiday weekend, from 9:00 to 11:30 AM. Our community Pancake Breakfasts now feature ‘Made in Canada’ ingredients, including the pancakes (made with Cache Cuisine Buttermilk and Vanilla Pancake Mix) with real maple syrup (generously provided by one of our business sponsors, Miners’ Maple Products), as well as eggs, sausage, hash browns and beverages from Canadian sources!

Even though food prices have increased, Rotary Pancake Breakfasts continue to cost only $15.00 per adult, or $7.00 for children aged 12 and under, and payment can be made by cash or debit/credit card.

To help make this an environmentally-friendly event, Rotary encourages people to bring their own plates and cutlery to help reduce waste from the breakfast. As well, there will be an option for breakfast pick-up for those wanting to take away their breakfasts.

We hope to see you there for the final Rotary community Pancake Breakfast of the 2025 season!
