SERVICE – WE ASSIST, NURTURE, SUPPORT

Our Club had tried for the past few years to decorate a float and enter the Canada Day Parade in Lion’s Head and this year, we pulled it off. It does take some time, but is also a lot of fun, so thanks to the SWANS that were available to participate and showcase our Club to the community.

The parade was an outstanding success and the crowd of spectators was unbelievable, so thanks to those that made it happen! There were many celebrations held throughout the community, so we hope you took the time to enjoy some of them. “Elbows Up”.

The members are preparing for a couple of catering events this week, so there will be a flurry of emails to get everything organized. It’s good to be busy. The weather continues to be interesting but you have to make the best of it.

If you have an interest in the SWANS experience, please contact Roberta Mielhausen at 519-374-4110.
