Many of you will remember the fun of cooking together at Community Kitchens; exploring all kinds of new recipes and learning some new cooking techniques. It’s been a few years but Community Kitchens is back this March and April.
Snow days will be behind us and it’s a good time to get out and welcome early spring. Mark these dates in your calendar;
• Friday March 7, 1-3pm,
• Friday March 21, 1-3pm and
• Friday April 11, 1-3pm
All sessions will take place at the Tobermory Community Centre kitchen.
The Meeting Place is hosting the program and is well positioned to do this with our research into creating the nutritious and convenient Good To Go Meal Kits; bringing the Good Food Box program to Tobermory and supporting local food producers.
The themes for each cooking session are being finalized, knowledgeable volunteer leaders are lined up. We hope some of you who are past participants will register and bring a friend.
How it works:
Up to 12 people will divide up and work together in small teams to follow a recipe and put together delicious food for tasting and taking home.
