A $3 million dock repair at the Little Tub Harbour, funded by Fisheries and Ocean Canada, was completed in time for the May long weekend on 19 May 2023.

Work at the Little Tub Harbour started in November 2022. The West Wall was replaced and is all concrete, and the North Wall got new Steel Sheet piling with a new wooden deck behind the piling. New installations included underwater welding attachments for the docks, new timber fenders for boats and new ladders. Also there were extensions to the storm sewers.

AECOM based in London, Ontario was in charge of design and engineering. The General Contractor was East Elgin Concrete Forming Ltd of Tillsonburg. All of the underwater work was completed by WATECH Services Inc.
