The first Open Mic after almost three years was a great success. It took place at The Meeting Place, on Tuesday, November 15. There was quite a variety of music with some new musicians joining. In Marty Oblak’s (Singer/Songwriter) words, the amount of musical talent in this community is mindblowing.
The audience enjoyed different genres, from Jazz to Country to original songs. Rod Layman sang a couple of songs in memory of John Baker, a beloved friend from Lion’s Head.
The next Open Mic is on Tuesday, December 13.
