Photo: Dismayed by the amount of litter on their local roads, Dunks Bay residents organised a clean up day on 23 August. Working in pairs along Dunks Bay Rd and Centennial Drive in Tobermory, volunteers filled 2 extra large (90 litre) bags with garbage from their local roads, and in the vicinity of the cemetery and dog park. Items retrieved included beer and pop cans, glass and plastic bottles, cigarette butts, food wrappers, used baby wipes, clothes, and a municipal parking ticket issued on 20 August.
