The Bruce Peninsula Society of Artists will hold their 24th Annual Studio Tour on August 27 & 28, 2022. Held over two-days, armed with a map of the location of the studios, art lovers and interested visitors are invited to explore the area, visit the art studios and learn about the local art scene on the Bruce.
After a two year absence due to COVID-19, the popular event returns to the Northern Bruce Peninsula this summer. Held at Artist Studios located throughout the Peninsula, typically 30 artists participate in the event. A wide array of talent is showcased with original works including watercolours, oils, acrylics, encaustic, stained and fused glass, pottery, photography, jewelry, woodturning and other one of a kind pieces. Visitors also have the opportunity to meet the artists of Northern Bruce during the tour and maybe see them at work.
The Artist Studio Tour is held under the umbrella company The Bruce Peninsula Society of Artists, which sponsors the Studio Tour and operates the Art Gallery in Ferndale.
Studio Tour Chair Charlene Jordan is excited to see the return of the Studio Tour and wishes to invite interested local artists to participate. The nominal fee for participating contributes toward the printing of the Studio Tour Brochure which outlines information on each artist, displays an image of their work, and indicates their location on the Studio Tour. A full sized map of all the studio locations as well as featured local lodging and dining establishments are included in the Studio Tour Brochure to assist attendees as they make their way around the Studio Tour throughout the weekend.
Interested Artists are invited to submit a Studio Tour application by the deadline of February 28, 2022 by visiting www.brucepeninsulaart.ca/studio-tour/
