Angela Lennon and mom, Tracy Lennon, welcomed a plethora of shoppers on a blustery winter day to the new and sparkling Stonehouse Boutique in Tobermory.

The bells over the door were jingling steadily on December 4th. Terry Heffernan popped in, taking a break from set up for the Samantha Martin concert. Katie Oblak with son Ashton and a friend from out of town showed up looking for treats. Dawna Proudman, visiting from Tiny Township on the other side of the bay, left with a big smile and two bags of goodies under her arm. A burble of voices filtered into the store front from the spa space at the back.

New cottage owners, Amanda Barratt and David Ens, dropped in with one of a kind shopping on their mind. Barratt and Ens, pleased to connect with some locals, wanted all to know their cottage is their home away from home and they hope at least some of the time to make it their work place too.

Lennon and mom were delighted with the turn out and an overall successful first season.
