Trails End Lodge, historically known as the Tobermory Wireless Station, is one of the last most intact wireless stations in Ontario. The Amos family, despite pressure from business entrepreneurs, have maintained the character of the wireless station and operator’s residence in near pristine form.
The property now functions as an accommodation, and those who get the experience to stay in this piece of history are truly fortunate.
This new booklet, available at the local Tobermory bookstore, and directly from Trails End Lodge, provides a glimpse into the wireless station and its amazing contributions to ship communication on the Great Lakes.
