June 7, 2021 – The Village Fair has been held on the August Civic Holiday weekend every year since its inception in 1938. For the 2nd year, due to the ongoing pandemic and following current Public Health Guidelines, the decision has been made to cancel this year’s event. In addition, the annual Shore to Shore Race which runs on the Monday of the Village Fair weekend has been postponed. Consideration will be given to holding the Shore to Shore Race later in the year.
The cancellation of Village Fair and Maple Magic, impacts the Rotary Club of Wiarton’s ability to support community needs and initiatives. The Club continues to look for new and innovative ways to raise funds while keeping participants and organizers safe. Please keep an eye on our Social Media sites for updates.
