Once again the Bruce Peninsula community has come to the support of the Lion’s Head Hospital Auxiliary! The Online Auction held in early December was a resounding success raising over $2,750.00 for health care on the Bruce.
With the pandemic limiting our fund raising abilities and health care needs rising, we are especially grateful to all those who participated. Special thanks to Charlotte Chinn, Rural Brand Guru and Terry Hubacheck for getting the project up and running. A huge thank you goes out to all those who donated items for auction (members and local merchants), the auction bidders, Auxiliary members who helped in many other ways.
Congratulations to the successful bidders. Hopefully this will become an annual event.
For those who might not be aware, all equipment used in our hospitals is funded by local fundraising efforts. Consequently your support is important to keep our hospitals able to provide the excellent care we are accustomed to and especially in these difficult times with more stress on their resources. Stay tuned for the next fund raising efforts by the Auxiliary.
Hopefully the availability of the vaccine will let us return to our normal activities soon. In the meantime stay safe and well.
