Although we aren’t able to meet in the library just now, we continue to carry on with our support of our library and the community in general.
The Christmas books for children have been purchased and will be distributed in the appropriate manner during Covid.
There will be the usual gift certificate draws held at the end of the first four months of the new year. Because of Covid the draws for March and April this year did not take place…therefore in 2021 there will be two draws at the end of January and February. We hope you will continue to use the library, read a lot of books and drop your name in the bucket for the draws.
Of course we are all missing the Friday movies and hope they can resume as soon as possible. We’ll let you know.
We did purchase a wreath to lay at the cenotaph in November to support the Legion.
And lately, we have agreed to make a contribution to Bruce County Public Library in support of their new craft programme which will benefit both children and adults in all of Bruce County.
We hope you are keeping well during these hard times and we are all looking forward to getting back to normal. In the meantime, we are still here giving support to the library and the community.
