The Peninsula Family Health Team has commenced COVID-19 testing in the parking lot of the Lion’s Head clinic site two mornings a week.
This temporary clinic set-up has been established to support people who require a negative COVID-19 test result within the past 14 days in order to visit a resident in Long Term Care.
By providing this testing in Lion’s Head, the Physician Group hopes to reduce the number of Peninsula residents who otherwise would have needed to drive to the Assessment Centre at Grey Bruce Health Services-Owen Sound site.
Testing is available on Tuesday and Thursday mornings and is open to anyone who requires the test for long term care visits.
All appointments must be booked in advance by calling the Lion’s Head site at 519-793-3445.
