Customers at Hellyer’s Food Market in Lion’s Head have been very generous during the covid-19 pandemic. Donations to the Lion’s Head & District Food Bank have been made as customers check out their groceries.
To date, $1,367.00 in cash has been donated, as well as $490.00 in gift cards. Donations have also been made through a donation of cloth face masks at the entrance to the store. As customers take a mask they leave a donation.
Every gift large and small is gratefully appreciated by the Food Bank recipients.
