Jeanie Finger, Manager at Bruce Peninsula Association for Community Living, accepts a cheque from Lioness Treasurer Bev Miller. The funding was given to assist the Community Living organization in their work in the community.

The fund was used to provide gifts for those members of Community Living who do not receive gifts from families for Christmas.

While the Community Living mainly services Wiarton, the organization also assists people on the Bruce Peninsula from Tobermory to Sauble Beach.

The Community Living organization welcomes donations, which are used locally to support people and programs. There is also a donate button on the organization’s website, if anyone wishes to donate that way. The website is www.BPACL.ca. Community Living supports around 45 people in our area.

The Ferndale, Lion’s Head & District Lioness club raised funding for this organization through their annual Christmas Bazaar held in Lion’s Head. The Lioness club thanks the Bruce Peninsula community for supporting our annual Christmas bazaar, and helping us to pass along funding to the needy in our community.
