Deputy Mayor Myles called the meeting to order at 9:00 a.m. and Council members were reminded to disclose any pecuniary interest and general nature thereof that may arise during the course of the meeting.

DELEGATION
Delegation #1: Parks Canada
RE: Tour of completed, under construction and planned areas of the park where funding is available through the Federal Infrastructure Investment Program
At Cyprus Lake, Council viewed the new Camp Office and Gatehouse, Staff House, Yurt Village, Camp Shower Hub* and Visitor Service/Interpretative Reception Centre* at the Head of the Trails which are both currently under construction*. The Parks Superintendent provided an overview of management and operations, statistics and data relating to visitors, timed parking, traffic movement, re-directional planning and various aspects of the camp including the provision of security provided by the Commissionaires.
Council was then routed to the Driftwood Cove property recently acquired by Parks Canada and a brief tour was conducted.
Council returned to the Parks Canada Visitor Centre for lunch. The Parks Superintendent briefly addressed matters such as the entranceway plan, area planning project(s), Little Cove Day Use Area and continuing to build partnerships with the Municipality and the community.
Upon reconvening after lunch, Council attended at Singing Sands, viewed the new parking lot, the new structure on site, the observation tower and interpretative signage and strolled the boardwalk. It was noted that paid parking is applicable at Singing Sands.
The final stop took Council to Emmett Lake where there was an opportunity to view the waterfront, visit the area where construction is occurring where the former Rangers camp existed and finally, to the location on Emmett Lake Road where a gatehouse and arm are being proposed to be installed by Parks Canada.
