That column (Publisher’s Column Issue #3/22 “The Saugeen/Bruce in 2022 — What’s a Dustman to Do?”) certainly brought back memories for me as I was brought up in a council house poor but we were lucky to have a roof over our heads.
As a recent newcomer to the Lion’s Head area, we realize we are extremely lucky to be living in this beautiful community. We did not realize the lack of accommodation here and no wonder there is a shortage of workers.
I hope at least one politician can move this forward. They would certainly have our vote.
