Of Wiarton and formerly of Tobermory, peacefully at Gateway Haven – Wiarton on Saturday May 16, 2026 at the age of 96 years. Predeceased by her parents Charlie and Lottie (nee Hopkins); brothers Dan, Levi, and David; sisters Ethel, Willow, Myrtle, Dora, Gertrude, Eva, and Marina. Cora and her twin sister Dora attended Nursing College together in Hamilton. After graduation, they both worked for a few years in Hamilton before returning home and working at the Wiarton hospital for over 20 years. Sadly missed by her many nieces and nephews. Family wish to express their gratitude to the doctors and nursing staff of the Lion’s Head hospital and Gateway Haven for the wonderful care Cora received. A graveside service to celebrate Cora’s life was conducted at Dunk’s Bay Cemetery on Tuesday June 2, 2026 at 11 o’clock. Arrangements entrusted to the Thomas C.
